How do I register my restaurant on OrderMan? â–¼

Getting started is easy! Simply click "Get Started" on our homepage, fill in your email and password, and you'll be guided through our simple onboarding wizard.

The wizard will help you:

  • Set up your business information
  • Add your menu items
  • Configure your tables and generate QR codes
How long does it take to set up? â–¼

Most restaurants can complete setup in 15-30 minutes. The basic setup (business info, a few menu items, and tables) takes just minutes. You can always add more items and customize later.

Do my customers need to download an app? â–¼

No! That's one of the best things about OrderMan. Customers simply scan the QR code with their phone's camera and the menu opens directly in their web browser. No app downloads required.

📋 Menu Management

How do I add or edit menu items? â–¼

From your admin dashboard, go to "Menu Items" and click "Add New Item". You can:

  • Enter the item name, description, and price
  • Upload an appetizing photo
  • Assign it to a category
  • Toggle availability on/off

To edit, simply click on any existing item.

Can I organize items into categories? â–¼

Yes! Categories help customers navigate your menu easily. Go to "Categories" in your dashboard to create categories like "Appetizers", "Main Course", "Drinks", etc. You can also reorder categories as needed.

What image format and size should I use? â–¼

We accept JPEG, PNG, and WebP images. For best results:

  • Use square or landscape images
  • Minimum 500x500 pixels recommended
  • Our system automatically compresses images to optimize loading speed

💬 Orders & WhatsApp

How do orders work? â–¼

When a customer places an order:

  • They browse your menu and add items to their cart
  • They click "Place Order" which opens WhatsApp
  • The order details (items, quantities, table number, total) are pre-filled in a message
  • You receive the order directly on your WhatsApp
What WhatsApp number should I use? â–¼

Use a WhatsApp number that's actively monitored during business hours. Many restaurants use:

  • A dedicated business phone
  • WhatsApp Business account for professional features
  • The manager's or order taker's phone number

You can change this number anytime in your restaurant settings.

What happens if WhatsApp is down? â–¼

Since orders go through WhatsApp, they depend on WhatsApp's availability. In rare cases of WhatsApp outages, customers can still view your menu and may place orders verbally. We recommend having a backup ordering method for such situations.

📱 QR Codes & Tables

How do I generate QR codes? â–¼

QR codes are automatically generated when you add tables. Go to "Tables" in your dashboard to:

  • Add tables individually
  • Bulk create multiple tables at once
  • Download individual QR codes or all at once as a ZIP file
How should I print the QR codes? â–¼

For best results:

  • Print on thick paper or cardstock
  • Consider laminating for durability
  • Minimum print size: 3x3 cm (larger is better)
  • Ensure good contrast and avoid reflective surfaces

Many restaurants use table tent cards, stickers, or framed displays.

Can I regenerate a QR code? â–¼

Yes! If a QR code is damaged, lost, or you want to invalidate old codes, you can regenerate the QR code for any table. The old code will stop working and a new one will be generated.

💰 Pricing & Plans

Is there a free plan? â–¼

Yes! Our Free plan lets you try OrderMan OrderMan with up to 5 tables and 20 menu items. It's perfect for testing the platform or running a small operation.

What currencies are supported? â–¼

We primarily support Nigerian Naira (NGN), but the platform can be configured for other African currencies like GHS, KES, and USD. You can set your preferred currency in the restaurant settings.

How do I pay for my subscription? â–¼

We use Paystack, the leading payment gateway in Africa, to process payments securely. You can pay using your local debit card (Verve, Mastercard, Visa), bank transfer, or USSD.

How do I upgrade my plan? â–¼

To upgrade, contact our support team and we'll help you choose the right plan for your needs. We offer flexible plans based on your restaurant's size and requirements.

Can I cancel anytime? â–¼

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Your access will continue until the end of your billing period. Contact our support team to cancel.
